First time there and happy to go back. Went for breakfast on a Monday and it was 60% full. Good crowd feels like a lotta regulars dine here. It's a hole in the wall institution and I love that aesthetic. But at the same time grateful they accept tap payment technology. Service was super. She was quick friendly and attentive for one person doing foh. Got the combination dry noodles which comes with a hock of pork knuckle (I think) to gnaw on. Recommend getting the donut so you can dip. Also got the iced coffee with condensed milk. It wasn't concentrated and ready to drink.

Been to Kamara twice now for weekday lunch. Both times food was very tasty. I really enjoyed their fried intestine rice plate which comes with a large bowl of soup with a huge pork bone. The #1 combination rice noodle soup is also very flavorful. Their fried noodles and fried rice also had a lot of wok hey. Prices are on the cheaper end hence the smaller portions but still enough to fill you up. Service was ok/typical for a Asian restaurant. It's a small mom and pop restaurant in a strip mall surrounded by medical offices. They have free parking in the parking lot in the back. Will definitely be back for lunch.

Found this place out in near Chinatown in LA. It's off the main shopping area. The food here is worth trying out. We ordered the Phnom Penh noodles (combination noodle soup), Beef Fried Rice noodle (stir fried beef), and Beef Lok Lak on fried rice. The food came out pretty quickly and was good. The Lok Lak was prepared differently than what I was used to, but it was pretty good. The stir-fried beef noodles were easy to eat and had good flavors.

Great Cambodian food! Used to eat here as a kid when my dad worked at the plaza, but only appreciated it a lot more recently as friends remind me how good it is! Happy to bring more friends to try as it is one of the few long-standing mom and pop shops. Came on a busy day. We were a group of 6 and first in line as all tables were taken up. Took about 20 minutes to be seated, with plenty of seating outside the quiet plaza to wait. I got the beef lok lak with fried rice and influenced most of our group to get it, too! It came with soup on the side and was under $15. Everyone who tried it raved either about the beef or the fried rice. My friend influenced us all to get 2 orders of leek cake so each of us could have a piece. All the food was yummy!! Delicious wok hei. Everyone was impressed. Cash preferred; they do take credit card and charge a small fee. Also a great place to order pick up. Support mom and pop shops!

Parking: Small lot/structure in the back. Meter parking is also available Ambiance: Small business, family-owned. Hole in the wall. I've been coming here for YEARS with my mom. The plaza is pretty empty, so sucks that there is not more foot traction. Come here for some authentic Cambodian dishes. Everything is made with love. Please support this business. Who knows how much longer they have!!

This place is such an amazing find tucked away in a plaza away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Chinatown. I tried their combination rice noodle soup and their chicken chow mien. Both were very delicious and definitely recommend trying them! FYI, they accept credit cards!

New Kamara or New Khemara Restaurant is a hidden gem, I really wish I can keep this place for myself but they are so good I had to share it with everyone. This is my second time coming here, the first was when they only did to go orders and second about a week ago. Chinatown is a stone's throw away from home so we love coming here when we can. My partner and I were craving noodles, wonton in particular. As I was skimming through google, yelp, trip advisor this place did not come up but I parked in front of the restaurant knowing this is where I wanted to be.
